Rob Steed

Rob Steed is a 34-year-old director of the tree care business. After leaving St. Jarlath’s College, Tuam, Rob trained in Countryside Management at University of  Wales, Aberystwyth in mid Wales.

This study and knowledge was quickly put to good use for next two years was spent with the Western Regional Fisheries Board on an E.U funded programme. This project involved rehabilitating the traditional salmon and trout spawning streams and river tributaries of the River Clare and Lough Corrib by carrying out river & stream enhancement and habitat management works. On completion of this successful project, Rob returned to UK and completed his formal Arboriculture & tree surgery training at Otley College, Suffolk. The next two years were spent with in

Ireland’s western seaboard as a Tree surgeon / Arborist with Coillte Tree Services unit.  Having gained considerable experience in the tree care industry, Rob was selected to serve as a Wildlife/ Conservation Ranger with the National Parks & Wildlife Service. The next eight years were spent protecting and monitoring the mosaic of special habitats and their flora and fauna in the Burren and surrounding areas of the Slieve Aughty Mountain range.

With a wealth of practical knowledge and experience under his belt, Rob then progressed to become self-employed as a tree and habitat management consultant and contractor.

As leading Arborist on the ground on every job, Rob has the satisfaction and joy in providing his domestic and commercial clients with that

personal touch and assurance of a professional tree care service carried out to the highest industry safety standards. Rob likes to relax during his time off by training the Sylane Ladies Camogie team nearby, swimming and surfing, traditional drumming, travelling and deer stalking during the season.

Conor Feely

Conor is nineteen years old and the leading grounds man and also trainee Arborist. Conor and has completed a Certificate in Forestry at Ballyhaise Agricultural College in Cavan.

Conor carried out his college work experience placement with Rob and later rejoined the business upon completion of his course. Conor is furthering his knowledge by partaking on a diploma in Forestry.

Eamonn Hogan

Eamonn is also local and originally specialised in the IT industry. Thankfully, Eamonn is the brains behind this website production and responsible for smooth operation of the office IT.

Out on site, Eamonn is a very competent Grounds man with a great eye for efficient operational detail and health and safety. Eamonn holds a Safe Pass and NPTC certificates.

Additional Staff

From time to time and depending on the nature of the job requirements, Rob may call in additional competent and experienced arboricultural staff
